![]() I just worry that this error (or bug?) might affect me again in the future. So far everything is working but I just don't get why it can't work on my motherboard's USB port. Then, I tried every port on my PC and I find out that now the device only works if I plug it into the front USB Panel on my PC (USB 3.0). I tried to "jump start" like someone above mentioned and it did turn on the device (Light flashes purple) but no connection on OBS or anything. But, when I plug it into another port (USB 2.0) it works fine but only 720p. There's no light indicator and no sign that the device is running. But, somehow now when I try to plug the device back into the same port (USB 3.0) or any USB 3.0 port on the back of the motherboard it didn't work. Also features an Advanced Pass Through Mode that allows you to switch to 144Hz refresh rate + HDR with the press of a button. Recorded some footage and it worked great. The EVGA XR1 Capture Device allows you to share the world and stream with 4K Pass Through Mode - Record at 1080P/60FPS while you game at 4K/60FPS. How should I use it I used Google Translate, so it may not have been delivered accurately, so please understand. It seems to work when it is recognized as 'evga xr1 capture box video'. I also updated the device to the latest firmware too. In the capture board source of obs, the source is recognized as 'evga xr1 capture box'. I plugged the device into my USB 3.0 port on the back of the motherboard and everything looks great. I just got my XR1 Lite today and at first, it was doing fine. Would also help to provide a screen shot of your OBS settings. so now the card basically works when it wants too in whatever mode it wants too, i have to plug the USB halfway into my usb motherboard ports to "Jump Start" the device into actually turning on, which was working for USB 3.0 mode now today i had the same 2.0 issue pop up and figured oh i need to do the jumpstart again but nope now im just locked into usb 2.0 mode and im not sure whatelse to do but beg the EVGA Gods for a firmware update Re: EVGA XR1 capture Card OBS sound problem ps4 Wednesday, Septem11:24 AM ( ) make sure you enable the XR1 as the default recording input device in the Windows sound settings. then i a day or so later one of my chatters mentioned the video looking choppy and weird so i reactivated my device in obs and nothing still skippy, then i noticed it would only run 720p30 in custom, so i looked at the manual noticed that it could operate in USB 2.0 (purple blinking light) and saw that is what my device was doing, so i unplugged/plugged the device in a couple times and it finally ran in USB 3.0 mode, i thought then i had finally figured it out switching to a USB 3.1 Gen2 port from my USB 3.1 Gen1 port but that was not the case. So the first couple days using the XR1lite were amazing no issues, loseless video at 60hz, it worked with all my scalers flawlessly.
